Media: US to allocate almost all 400 million dollars of aid to Ukraine

The administration of American President Donald Trump has taken on legal obligations to spend almost all of the 400 million dollars of military aid to Ukraine that Congress approved at the end of 2025, while the package will not include missiles for Patriot systems.

According to the interlocutors, as of the beginning of this week, contracts worth $307 million out of $400 million had been concluded.

According to them, the Trump administration plans to secure obligations for the remaining 93 million dollars before the end of the fiscal year falling on September 30.

It is noted that the first deliveries of weapons and equipment, in particular spare parts for armored vehicles, began this month. The rest, as the interlocutors claim, should be delivered by October 2029.

The agency noted that the remaining $93 million of the package does not necessarily have to be spent by the end of the year, but these funds will lapse if they are not officially fixed in contracts by that time.

One of the interlocutors noted that the package does not include missiles for Patriot systems, despite the fact that the Russian Federation continues to systematically attack Ukrainian cities with drones and ballistic missiles.
