Russia strikes the Dobrobut clinic in Kyiv: Zelensky shows the aftermath

Russian troops on Monday, 28 September, struck a clinic of the Dobrobut medical network in Kyiv. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the building.

This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The strike occurred during another Russian attack on the capital. Throughout the day, hits and drone falls, damage to non-residential buildings and fires were repeatedly recorded in various districts of Kyiv.

According to the official Kyiv portal, at about 15:26 in the Shevchenkivskyi district a hit was recorded on a seven-storey administrative building at the level of the fourth floor. Emergency services were dispatched to the site. Earlier, city authorities also reported a hit on a non-residential building in the historic centre of the capital, where a fire broke out.

By 15:47, city authorities reported that as a result of Russian attacks on Kyiv since the beginning of the day, 19 people had been injured, including three children. One woman was killed. Six of the wounded were hospitalised, including two children. These data cover all attacks on Kyiv on 28 September, not only the strike on the clinic.

During the day, Russian drones also attacked facilities and buildings in the Podilskyi, Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, Darnytskyi and other districts of the capital. Fires broke out in several places, with rescuers and medics working.

Information on the extent of damage directly at the Dobrobut clinic and possible casualties there is being clarified.
