The Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate an additional 50.1 billion UAH for payments to Ukrainian servicemen.

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi reported this.

The funds will be used for military personnel salaries and for one-time state payments provided in cases related to the death of servicemen.

Specifically, it is about redistributing state budget funds that the government has already approved, not about planned future increases in funding.

At the end of September, Koretskyi also emphasized that ensuring payments to servicemen remains one of the government's priorities. According to him, the state must provide such payments reliably and in full.

Additional funding was approved against the backdrop of significant needs in Ukraine's defense budget. The government redistributes expenditures throughout the year and seeks additional resources to finance the security and defense sector.
