In Ivano-Frankivsk region, the head of one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers and his deputy were notified of suspicion due to interference in the electronic register of conscripts. According to the investigation, the officials fictitiously "mobilized" men who actually continued to live civilian lives.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The investigation believes that the head of the district TCC and his deputy used their own electronic access keys, logins, and passwords to enter false information into the electronic accounting cards of conscripts.

The men's digital status was changed in a way that made it seem as if they had already been mobilized. After that, they were removed from the military register, although they had not actually entered military service.

In most cases, conscripts were formally processed as mobilized into the district TCC and SP subordinate to the suspects. Another man, according to law enforcement, was fictitiously enlisted in an assault unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, they all continued to lead ordinary civilian lives and actually did not undergo service. The SSU claims that such changes in the register were made for bribes.

Investigators documented eight such cases during 2025–2026. According to Suspilne, the deputy head of the TCC entered the data during a period when he temporarily served as the head.

The defendants in the case are the 53-year-old head of the district TCC and SP and his 44-year-old deputy. They were notified of suspicion under Parts 1 and 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — unauthorized actions with information processed in automated systems.

The court imposed a measure of restraint on both suspects in the form of detention with the possibility of bail. If proven guilty, they could face up to six years of imprisonment.

The investigation was conducted by SSU officers in Ivano-Frankivsk region together with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the Ivano-Frankivsk Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Western Region.

This episode was part of a larger operation by the SSU and the National Police. On October 5, law enforcement reported the blocking of nine schemes of draft evasion in different regions of Ukraine and the detention of 15 alleged organizers.
