14,000 subscribers left without electricity in Poltava region
About 14,000 subscribers in the Poltava region were left without electricity due to an emergency situation. The outages affected settlements in the Zinkiv and Opishnya territorial communities.
This was announced on the evening of October 5 by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Diakivnych.
"According to updated information, as of now about 14,000 subscribers are without electricity in the settlements of the Zinkiv and Opishnya territorial communities," — he stated.
The cause of the emergency was not specified by the head of the Regional Military Administration. Emergency crews are already working to restore power supply.
The day before, on October 4, a Russian drone hit an energy infrastructure facility in the Poltava region. At that time, about 22,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
The Regional Military Administration has not yet reported whether the current emergency is related to the aftermath of the previous Russian attack.
