The Ukrainian cash currency market also reacted to the decline of non-cash dollar.

Price tags in wholesale exchange offices went down. In particular, in Kyiv, the selling price of cash dollar among wholesalers by evening dropped to 44.85 UAH – 3 kopecks lower than on Monday. In cities where the dollar was still sold above 45 hryvnias yesterday, today it is already cheaper. Thus, in Kharkiv, the dollar became 10 kopecks cheaper (wholesalers sell it at 44.98 UAH), and in Odesa – 15 kopecks cheaper (44.90 UAH).

Ukrainian banks also began to lower their dollar selling rates. The cheapest dollar on Tuesday evening can be purchased in a bank in Lviv at 44.98 UAH, the most expensive – in Zaporizhzhia's Metbank at 45.50 UAH (15 kopecks cheaper than the morning price).

However, cash euro went up. If in the morning it could be bought cheapest in Ukrgasbank at 44.70 UAH, by evening it was 4 kopecks more expensive, at 44.74 UAH in Kredobank.

Thus, we can state a fact: once again the dollar failed to hold above 45 UAH and went down again. It is clear that it was not without the National Bank: today it sold a record amount of currency to reverse the trend. In the Bloomberg trading system, the trading volume amounted to 378.03 million dollars – a record since January 1, 2025.
