Ukrainian intelligence has received updated information about Russia's preparation for a new massive strike on Ukraine. The Defense Forces are already preparing countermeasures, President Volodymyr Zelensky said following a conference call with the government, military, and heads of key services.

According to the president, the Minister of Defense and the Commander of the Air Force reported on the distribution of air defense assets and the organization of protective lines for certain key facilities.

Ukraine is also working to provide the necessary ammunition for F-16 fighters, drone interception capabilities, and anti-missile systems.

"We received updated information from intelligence today regarding the Russians' preparation for a massive strike. We are preparing countermeasures. We have set deadlines for completing a significant part of the tasks; the priority ones are already being implemented," — Zelensky stated.

The meeting also discussed the protection of critical infrastructure and the aftermath of previous Russian attacks. Special attention was paid to transport and logistics infrastructure.

According to Zelensky, the government, together with representatives of regional authorities, has prepared additional logistical solutions in response to Russian strikes on Ukrainian logistics.

The president did not disclose the possible timing of the new massive strike, the directions of attack, or specific targets that Russia might attempt to hit. Such operational data is not publicly disclosed.

Zelensky also called on Ukrainians to be attentive to the threat of air attacks and to respond to air raid sirens. When an air alert is announced, citizens should move to shelters and remain there until the official all-clear.

Earlier, the president stated that Ukrainian air defense, mobile fire groups, and combat aviation are on standby given the available resources. At the same time, Ukraine continues to work with partners on additional missile supplies for air and missile defense systems.
