On Wednesday, October 7, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect in Kyiv and Kyiv region. The restrictions are being introduced at the command of NPC Ukrenergo, DTEK reported.

The energy company published separate schedules for the capital and Kyiv region. Residents can find out the time of possible power outages by their queue and specific address through DTEK's official services.

In Kyiv region, the schedules provide for different outage periods for 12 sub-queues. Depending on the group, electricity may be unavailable once or twice during the day. For example, for sub-queue 2.2, outages are scheduled from 03:00 to 07:00 and from 13:30 to 17:30, while for 4.2 — from 06:30 to 10:30 and from 17:00 to 21:00. For sub-queue 1.2, no outages are currently planned.

Ukrenergo previously reported that on October 7, restrictions in a number of regions of the country will be in effect around the clock — from 00:00 to 23:59. For households, hourly outage schedules are provided in the amount of 0.5 to 1.5 queues simultaneously, while for industry and business, capacity limitation schedules are planned.

The reason for the restrictions remains damage to energy infrastructure as a result of Russian missile and drone attacks. Ukrenergo warns that the amount of restrictions and their timing may change depending on the situation in the power system.

DTEK also asks consumers to follow updates, as published schedules may be adjusted during the day based on new instructions from the system operator.
