Emergency power outages cancelled in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast
Emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast on the evening of October 7. The restrictions are applied on the order of NPC Ukrenergo following Russian shelling.
This was reported by the press service of DTEK.
During emergency outages, pre-published schedules do not apply. Therefore, it is impossible to predict the exact time of power loss and restoration at a specific address.
The company noted that restrictions are necessary due to the difficult situation in the energy system after Russian attacks. Power engineers are working to stabilize the grid and restore electricity supply.
Added: at 21:13, DTEK announced that emergency power outages have been cancelled.
Electricity problems have also affected the operation of other city infrastructure. Earlier, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that some water pumping stations were without power, causing interruptions in water supply on the right bank of the capital.
DTEK urged residents who still have electricity to use it sparingly to reduce the load on the power system.
The return to planned schedules or the cancellation of emergency restrictions will be announced separately after the relevant order from Ukrenergo.
