On Wednesday, October 14, hourly power outage schedules will continue to apply in certain regions of Ukraine. The restrictions will affect both residential consumers and industrial enterprises and businesses.

The National Energy Company Ukrenergo reported this on Tuesday, October 13, via its Telegram channel.

According to the company, power outages will be applied from 06:00 to 23:59. During this period, two types of restrictions are planned:

  • From 06:00 to 23:59 — capacity limitation schedules for industry and business.
  • From 06:00 to 23:59 — hourly outage schedules for all categories of consumers in the amount of 0.5 to 2 stages.

The reason for the restrictions remains the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities. Equipment damage makes it difficult to maintain stable power supply in certain regions.

However, Ukrenergo did not specify in which regions the restrictions will apply on October 14. The exact outage times for specific addresses should be checked on the official resources of local distribution system operators.

Energy workers warn that the duration and volume of restrictions may change depending on the situation in the power system and the consequences of possible new Russian attacks.

The company also urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly during hours when power supply is restored according to the schedule. In particular, it is recommended not to switch on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time to avoid additional load on damaged networks.

Recall that on October 13, hourly outage schedules with a volume of up to two stages were also in effect in some regions. In addition, as a result of Russian shelling, new outages were recorded in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
