As a result of a Russian attack on the night of October 27 in Kyiv, the car and motorcycle showrooms of the official Suzuki dealer in Podil were damaged. Due to the damage, both commercial facilities have temporarily suspended operations.
This was reported on the official Facebook page of Suzuki in Podil.
The company confirmed the damage to the car and motorcycle showrooms as a result of the nighttime Russian shelling and warned customers about the temporary suspension of their operations.
The timing of the resumption of car and motorcycle sales is currently unknown. The dealer will announce the resumption of showroom operations and a new visitor reception schedule separately.
Meanwhile, the Suzuki service department continues to operate as usual. Thus, the damage to the commercial premises did not result in a complete cessation of customer service.
Information about the extent of material damage, damage to cars or motorcycles that were in the showrooms, and the cost of future restoration work has not yet been disclosed by the company.
The official importer and distributor of Mazda and Suzuki cars, as well as Suzuki motorcycles in Ukraine, is the company "AVTO International".
Consequences of the Russian attack on Kyiv
Russian troops on the evening of October 26 and the night of October 27 launched a series of strikes on the capital, as a result of which residential buildings, transport infrastructure, and commercial facilities were damaged.
In particular, in the Podil district, damage to administrative and non-residential buildings was recorded. The consequences of the attack also affected enterprises and commercial facilities in various parts of the city.
As previously reported by "Kurs Ukrainy", as a result of the Russian strike, the Auchan "Chernihivska" hypermarket temporarily suspended operations. The company announced the need to assess the damage and carry out restoration work.
