On the cash currency market, the rise in selling prices for cash dollars is gaining momentum. The cash dollar is rising following the non-cash one, while in recent days it has been increasing its gap in value.

By the evening of Tuesday, October 27, cash dollars in wholesale exchange points in Kyiv were sold at 46.15 UAH – 30 kopecks higher than a day earlier. At the same time, just today the dollar at the capital's wholesalers rose by 15 kopecks, because in the morning it could still be bought at exactly 46.00 UAH.

In all regional centers, the cash "American" has confidently crossed the 46 UAH mark. On Tuesday evening in Odesa, the dollar is ready to be sold at 46.05 UAH (5 kopecks more expensive than Monday), in Lviv – at 46.20 UAH (plus 20 kopecks), in Dnipro – at 46.25 UAH (30 kopecks more expensive), and in Kharkiv – at 46.39 UAH (21 kopecks more expensive). And these are prices for dollars issued in 2001-2006 (the so-called "white dollar"). New-style banknotes will cost buyers even more.

Ukrainian banks are also actively participating in the devaluation race. The cheapest dollar by the end of Tuesday was sold at 45.50 UAH in Creditvest Bank (most likely, there were only outdated figures on the board), and the most expensive in Accordbank – at 46.45 UAH. If yesterday by the evening only four banks set the selling rate at 46 UAH and above, today it was easier to count the banks where the rate was below 46 UAH.

Despite the fall on the international currency market FOREX (today the euro dropped to 1.11353 dollars), in Ukraine the euro is rising in price together with the US dollar. By the evening of today, the minimum selling price for the euro started from 51.20 UAH in the Kyiv branch of Sky Bank, and the most expensive euro – at 51.80 UAH – was sold in the International Investment Bank (IIB), better known as the bank of Petro Poroshenko.

The gap between the cost of non-cash and cash dollars is growing. By Tuesday evening it amounted to 46.4 kopecks. Yet quite recently it fluctuated within 5-15 kopecks. This indicates the appearance of a rush component of demand on the cash market, which is driving up the dollar price for the population.
