On Wednesday, October 28, hourly power outage schedules will continue to apply in some regions of Ukraine. The restrictions will affect household consumers and businesses, with a volume of 1.5 to 2.5 stages.
This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo on the evening of October 27 via their Telegram channel.
According to the company's preliminary forecast, power supply restrictions on October 28 will be in effect from 06:00 to 23:59. The energy company has planned the following measures:
- From 06:00 to 23:59 — hourly power outage schedules for all consumer categories with a volume of 1.5 to 2.5 stages.
- From 06:00 to 23:59 — capacity limitation schedules for industrial enterprises.
The reason for the restrictions remains the aftermath of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Ukrenergo warned that due to possible new shelling, the situation in the power system may change. Therefore, the time and duration of outages in certain regions may be adjusted during the day.
The company did not publish a complete list of regions where the schedules will apply. The exact power outage times for a specific address should be checked on the official websites and pages of regional distribution system operators — oblenergo.
The company also urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly after power is restored according to the schedule. This is necessary to reduce the load on the damaged power system.
Reminder, on October 27, hourly outage schedules of 1.5 to 2.5 stages were also in effect in Ukraine. As previously reported by "Kurs Ukrainy" (link), restrictions affected a number of regions due to damage to energy facilities as a result of Russian attacks.
