On Tuesday, October 27, Russian troops continued offensive actions on several sections of the front. As of 10:00 PM, Ukrainian military recorded 178 combat clashes. The most intense enemy attacks were carried out on the Pokrovske, Huliaipole, and Kostiantynivka axes.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening operational update for October 27.
According to the Ukrainian command, during the day the Russian army carried out one missile strike and 46 air strikes, using 171 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy employed 5,942 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,563 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian units.
On which axes fighting continued
On the Pokrovske axis, Russian troops launched 24 attacks. Combat actions took place in the areas of Sofiivka, Vilne, Vodianske, Vasylivka, Molodetske, and in the direction of other settlements. As of 10:00 PM, one combat clash was ongoing.
According to preliminary data from the General Staff, during the day on this section of the front Ukrainian military eliminated 23 Russian servicemen, and eight more were wounded. Also destroyed were five vehicles and one piece of special equipment of the enemy.
In addition, three vehicles, an electronic warfare system, a drone control point, and 39 shelters of Russian troops were damaged. Ukrainian units destroyed or suppressed 173 Russian drones of various types.
On the Huliaipole axis, the Defense Forces repelled 16 attacks toward Ternuvate, Dolynka, Horkoho, Charivne, and Yehorivka. At the time of publication of the update, one battle was ongoing.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, 13 assaults were recorded in the area of Kostiantynivka and in the direction of Raiske and Pavlivka. One attack was also ongoing.
On the South-Sloboda axis, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions five times in the direction of Okhrimivka and Mala Vovcha. Two combat clashes were not completed at the time of compilation of the update.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy tried three times to improve its positions in the direction of Radkivka. On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian military repelled four attacks, on the Sloviansk axis - two, and on the Kramatorsk axis - one.
On the North-Sloboda and Kursk axes, Russian troops carried out 27 shellings of Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.
At the same time, no Russian assault actions were recorded on the Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovske axes.
The General Staff emphasized that the provided data are operational and may be subject to clarification. No significant changes in the situation occurred on the remaining sections of the front.
