On Thursday, October 29, hourly power outage schedules will continue to operate in some regions of Ukraine. The restrictions will affect the population, enterprises and other categories of consumers, and their volume will amount to 1.5 to 2.5 queues.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo on the evening of October 28 according to the announcement.

According to the preliminary forecast of the company, electricity supply restrictions will be in effect almost around the clock. The energy specialists have provided for the following measures:

  • From 06:00 to 23:59 — hourly power outage schedules for all categories of consumers in the amount of 1.5 to 2.5 queues.
  • From 06:00 to 23:59 — power limitation schedules for industrial enterprises.

The reason for the restrictions remains the consequences of massive Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Ukrenergo warned that in the event of new shelling, the situation in the power system may change. Therefore, the time and duration of outages in certain regions may be adjusted during the day.

The company did not publish a complete list of regions where restrictions will be in effect. The exact time of power outage at a specific address must be checked on the official websites and pages of regional distribution system operators — oblenergo.

The company also urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly after power supply is restored according to the schedule. This is necessary to reduce the load on the damaged power system.

We remind that on October 28, in Ukraine, hourly outage schedules in the volume of 1.5 to 2.5 queues were also in effect. Thus, for Thursday, a similar regime of restrictions is provisionally provided.
