Humanitarian aid to residents of the temporarily occupied Oleshky in Kherson Oblast is planned to be delivered on October 30. Demining of routes necessary for the passage of a humanitarian convoy and subsequent evacuation of the civilian population is currently underway.

On October 29, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets reported this. According to him, demining is proceeding successfully, and the Ukrainian side is already forming cargo for city residents.

As of the morning of October 29, the local ceasefire had been in effect for 54 hours. It began on October 27 at 03:00 Kyiv time. According to the ombudsman, both sides are fully complying with the agreements, and no violations have been recorded.

Lubinets noted that he maintains constant contact with the representative of the Russian side Yana Lantratova. The humanitarian mission is being coordinated through the mediation of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump.

The Russian side also reports preparations for the next stage of the operation. According to Russian media, Lantratova announced the formation of a humanitarian convoy with food, medicine, and other essential items. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that military personnel are demining roads for aid delivery and the exit of civilians. There is currently no independent confirmation of the readiness of the Russian convoy.

Melania Trump also announced the involvement of four American journalists from Newsmax in the humanitarian mission. In a post on social network X, she noted that the journalists will work together with Ukrainian and Russian representatives of humanitarian groups. Their task is to independently document the progress of the operation and act as observers.

Earlier, the participation of American journalists was reported by representative of the Russian leadership Kirill Dmitriev. He stated that Moscow welcomes the presence of Newsmax during the humanitarian mission.

The main goal of the operation remains delivering aid to people in the occupied city and ensuring the voluntary exit of the civilian population. According to preliminary estimates, about two thousand residents remain in Oleshky, who have long experienced shortages of food, medicine, and drinking water.

As reported previously by "Kurs Ukrainy", the humanitarian operation involves phased demining, delivery of cargo, and creation of conditions for evacuation. The ceasefire has been agreed until 22:59 on November 1. At the same time, as of the morning of October 29, actual delivery of aid and the start of organized evacuation have not yet been confirmed.
