On the morning of October 30, due to new Russian strikes on energy facilities and infrastructure damage caused by previous shelling, some consumers were left without electricity in Kyiv, Kyivska, Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, and Kharkivska oblasts.

This was reported by NPC "Ukrenergo" in its morning report on the state of the power system.

According to the company, Russian troops attacked energy facilities in several oblasts during October 29 and on the night of October 29-30. The consequences of the new strikes compounded the electricity supply problems caused by previous infrastructure damage.

Emergency restoration work has already begun everywhere that safety conditions allow. Power engineers are working to restore electricity supply to cut-off consumers. However, the company did not specify the exact completion dates for repairs or the total number of subscribers without electricity.

Due to damage to energy equipment, hourly electricity shutdown schedules of up to 2.5 stages will continue to be applied in some oblasts until the end of October 30. The restrictions apply to all categories of consumers.

Power limitation schedules will also apply to industry. These measures are necessary to prevent overloading of equipment affected by the Russian shelling.

Meanwhile, electricity consumption in Ukraine has decreased significantly. According to "Ukrenergo," as of 09:30 on October 30, it was 6.5% lower than the previous day. This was due to forced power supply restrictions, not an improvement in the power system.

On October 29, the daily consumption peak was recorded in the evening hours. It remained at the same level as on Wednesday, October 28.

Engineers urged Ukrainians to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances from 16:00 to 22:00. This will help reduce the load on damaged networks during peak consumption hours.

In "Ukrenergo" it was stressed that due to possible new attacks, the situation in the power system may change during the day. The actual outage schedule for a specific address should be checked on the official resources of local power distribution operators.

Earlier, "Kurs Ukrainy" reported on the continuation of outage schedules for October 30. According to the preliminary forecast of "Ukrenergo," restrictions in some oblasts are planned from 06:00 to 23:59.
