On October 30, the Ukrainian delegation safely reached the temporarily occupied Oleshky in Kherson Oblast. Evacuation of civilians and distribution of humanitarian aid have begun in the city. The local ceasefire regime, introduced to conduct the operation, continues to be in effect.

This was reported by the head of the parliamentary faction "Servant of the People" David Arakhamia.

According to him, the Ukrainian delegation arrived in the city without incidents. The humanitarian mission has moved from preparation and demining of routes to directly providing assistance to the population and organizing the departure of people.

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets also confirmed the arrival in Oleshky. According to him, he is already talking with local residents to find out their priority needs.

The Ombudsman reported that the silence regime, as of the moment of his statement, had been in effect for 80 hours. The agreements on the local ceasefire continue to be implemented.

Before departure, people who agreed to evacuate must undergo an initial medical examination. Information about their health status will be passed to the Ministry of Health to prepare the necessary assistance.

Upon arrival on Ukrainian-controlled territory, evacuees will be provided with follow-up medical examinations. In Chernihiv and Kyiv Oblasts, clothing, hygiene products and other necessary support are planned for them.

For the humanitarian mission, 25 buses with a capacity of at least 750 passengers, special transport for people with limited mobility, and nine ambulances have been prepared. Separately, the possibility of transporting pets was arranged.

According to Novyny.LIVE, Lubinets stated before the operation that the humanitarian convoy will deliver food, medicines, hygiene products and other necessary items to city residents.

The humanitarian mission is carried out under agreements between the Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets and the Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Yana Lantratova. Mediation and coordination are provided by the First Lady of the United States Melania Trump.

The local ceasefire regime in the Oleshky area began on October 27 at 03:00 Kyiv time. According to preliminary agreements, it is to be in effect until 22:59 on November 1.

On the eve, October 29, "Kurs Ukrainy" reported the completion of demining of necessary routes and the readiness of the humanitarian convoy. At that time, the parties were just preparing for cargo delivery and evacuation.

The current stage of the operation became the first direct arrival of the Ukrainian delegation to the city within this humanitarian mission. Oleshky have been under Russian occupation since 2022, and local residents have long suffered from shortages of food, medicines and other essential items.
