The humanitarian mission in the temporarily occupied Oleshky of Kherson region has moved to the next stage. Residents who wished to leave the city were given the opportunity to evacuate, humanitarian aid has been delivered, and the convoys with people have split up and continue moving.

This was reported on October 30 by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets in a message.

According to the ombudsman, all residents of Oleshky who wanted to leave for territory controlled by Ukraine were given that opportunity. People have already left the city and are on the way.

Lubinets also confirmed that the humanitarian cargo was delivered to its destination. The Ukrainian delegation continues to coordinate the further implementation of the agreements reached.

In the next message the ombudsman clarified that the buses with people headed in different directions: some to Ukraine, others to the territory of Russia. He did not give details of the routes or the number of passengers.

Separately, Lubinets reported on the observance of the ceasefire regime. As of the time of his statement, it had been in effect for 87 hours. During this time, no violations of the agreed conditions were recorded.

The silence regime in the Oleshky area came into effect on October 27 at 03:00 Kyiv time. According to the previously reached agreements, it is planned to be maintained until November 1 inclusive.

The humanitarian operation is being conducted on the basis of agreements between Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets and Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Yana Lantratova. The mediation and coordination is provided by US First Lady Melania Trump.

For the evacuation of residents, 25 buses for 750 seats were previously prepared, as well as ambulances for people with limited mobility. At the same time, the final number of evacuated citizens has not yet been announced.

Earlier, “Kurs Ukrainy” reported that the Ukrainian delegation together with the evacuated residents left Oleshky. This was stated by David Arakhamia, head of the parliamentary faction “Servant of the People”.

The current statement by Lubinets confirms that the humanitarian cargo has been delivered, those wishing to leave were given the opportunity to do so, and the agreed silence regime continues to operate. At the same time, there is no official confirmation yet of the arrival of all evacuees at the final destinations.
