On October 30, Russian forces continued offensive actions on several parts of the front. As of 22:00, the Ukrainian military recorded 168 combat clashes. The largest number of enemy attacks occurred in the Kostyantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its evening operational update.
According to the Ukrainian command, since the beginning of the day the Russian army has carried out two missile strikes and 48 airstrikes, using 172 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy employed 4,506 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,535 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops.
The most intense fighting continued in the Kostyantynivka sector. Here Ukrainian units repelled 18 Russian assaults in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Sofiyivka, Vilne, and in the direction of Zolote Kolodyaz. As of 22:00, four engagements were still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops launched 14 attacks. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Krasnopillia, Dobropillia, Molodetske, and in the direction of Serhiivka. One battle was still ongoing at the time of the report.
According to preliminary data from the General Staff, 38 Russian servicemen were eliminated in the Pokrovsk sector during the day, and 12 more were wounded. Ukrainian forces also claimed destruction of four vehicles, 41 enemy shelters, and the destruction or suppression of 286 drones of various types.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine offensive attempts. Russian troops attacked in the areas of Nadiya, Myrne, Zarichne, Lyman, Dibrova, and in the direction of Druzhbivka. Two engagements were ongoing.
In the South Sloboda sector, eight attacks by Russian units were recorded. Fighting took place in the areas of Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrymivka, Shevyakivka, Putnykove, and toward a number of other settlements. One attack remained incomplete.
In the Hulyaipole sector, the Defense Forces repelled eight Russian attacks in the areas of Verkhnya Tersa, Horke, Bilohirya, and in the direction of Yehorivka, Novozaporizhzhia, and Kosivtseve.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops launched three assaults near Mala Tokmachka. In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian units stopped two enemy attempts to advance.
In the North Sloboda and Kursk sectors, the Russian army carried out three airstrikes, using seven guided aerial bombs. Also, 104 shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements were recorded.
At the same time, in the Kupiansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, and Prydniprovske sectors, Russian troops, according to the evening update, did not conduct assault actions.
The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian units continue to hold back the Russian offensive. The data on enemy losses and the results of hostilities are preliminary and may be updated.
