From November 1, 2026, Oschadbank increased the maintenance fee for inactive current accounts without a payment card to 150 UAH. The change applies to clients who have not conducted transactions on such accounts for a long time.

The bank announced the increase in an official notice dated October 2. The November change concerns inactive current accounts without a card. The maintenance conditions for card accounts are determined by the corresponding tariff package.

In the version of the comprehensive banking service agreement effective from November 1, a current or card account is generally considered inactive if no credits or debits have occurred for 12 months or more. Interest accruals on the balance, bank fees, and transfers via the "Mobilni zaoshchadzhennia" service are not counted as operations that interrupt the period of inactivity.

The agreement provides for a monthly maintenance fee for an inactive account. According to clause 6.8, the bank may charge this fee after the period of no transactions specified by the tariffs has expired.

If the available funds in the inactive account are less than the prescribed fee, the agreement stipulates that the fee is written off in the amount of the existing balance. For example, with a balance of 80 UAH, the maintenance fee will be 80 UAH.

Other changes effective from November 1 apply to the "My rahunok" card tariff package. SMS notifications now cost 40 UAH per month, Viber messages — 25 UAH. Push notifications in the app remain free. The above amounts are the monthly service cost, not the price per message.

Clients who have not used their account for a long time should clarify with the bank its type, status, and applicable tariff. Owners of the "My rahunok" package should also check the notification method they have enabled, as it affects the information service fee.
