American company Anthropic, developer of artificial intelligence Claude, has disclosed massive financial commitments ahead of its upcoming stock market debut. The total amount of signed agreements for future spending on computing power and infrastructure reached $895.4 billion. At the same time, the company's quarterly revenue grew almost 12 times, approaching $17 billion.

Bloomberg reported this on November 2, citing the updated prospectus for the initial public offering (IPO) that Anthropic filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

According to the official document, the company's commitments include the purchase of computing resources, equipment rental, and long-term agreements for the use of data centers. Some contracts are already active, while others provide for the supply of equipment and provision of capacity in the future.

Of the total amount, about $447.5 billion the company expects to spend by the end of 2030. Most of the remaining commitments fall on the period from 2031 to 2045.

At the same time, within the next 12 months after September 30, 2026, Anthropic will have to fulfill payment obligations of about $69.8 billion.

However, not all agreements are unconditional. Obligations of approximately $213.8 billion allow for contract termination or depend on the fulfillment of certain conditions, including obtaining financing and necessary permits by counterparties.

The company explains the need for such large-scale investments by the growing demand for artificial intelligence. Computing power is required for training new Claude models, serving corporate clients, and conducting research.

Anthropic uses equipment and technologies from Amazon, Google, Nvidia, and AMD. At the same time, the company is developing its own infrastructure model, Anthropic Direct, which involves renting computing equipment and placing it in specialized data centers.

Anthropic's revenue for the third quarter of 2026 reached $16.96 billion compared to $1.38 billion for the same period last year. Compared to the second quarter of the current year, the figure increased by about 47%.

For nine months, the company received $33.2 billion in revenue, while for the same period in 2025 this figure was about $2.5 billion.

Despite the rapid sales growth, Anthropic continues to record significant losses. In the third quarter, net loss amounted to $23.3 billion. At the same time, operating loss was significantly smaller — $567 million.

The difference is mainly explained by accounting revaluation of financial obligations. For nine months of 2026, Anthropic's net loss reached $104 billion, including about $94 billion in expenses related to revaluation of financing instruments.

The company's direct expenses on computing power and infrastructure in the third quarter amounted to about $9.9 billion, up from $2 billion a year earlier.

At the same time, as of the end of September, Anthropic had cash and short-term investments totaling about $131.8 billion.

The updated financial figures were published at the final stage of Anthropic's preparation for the IPO. The company intends to list its shares on the American Nasdaq exchange under the ticker ANT.

The offering organizers are Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. According to Bloomberg, the stock market debut could take place as early as November, before American Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile, the number of shares being offered, their price range, and the final amount of capital raising have not yet been announced.

Previously, «Курс Украины» reported that on October 26, Anthropic officially filed its initial IPO application. The new version of the prospectus discloses the third-quarter financial results and clarifies the scale of the company's long-term infrastructure commitments.
