On Tuesday, November 3, emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast, and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The hourly outage schedules previously published in these regions are temporarily not in effect.
This was reported by the energy company DTEK. The restrictions were applied by order of NPC "Ukrenergo".
During emergency outages, power supply may be cut off without following the predetermined schedules. Therefore, consumers should not rely on the previously published hours of outage and restoration of electricity.
The terms for canceling the emergency restrictions have not yet been announced. DTEK promised to inform about changes in the power supply regime through official information channels.
Earlier, "Ukrenergo" warned that on November 3, hourly outage schedules ranging from 0.5 to 4 phases would be applied in some regions of Ukraine throughout the day. Power limitation schedules were also planned for industrial consumers.
The reason for the restrictions, according to "Ukrenergo", was the consequences of massive Russian attacks on energy facilities. The company emphasized that the situation in the power system may change during the day.
Consumers are advised to check current information on outages and restoration of power supply on the official resources of regional distribution system operators. After the situation stabilizes, power engineers may return to hourly schedules.
