Since the beginning of the day on November 3, 201 combat clashes have occurred on the front between Ukrainian defenders and Russian troops. The most intense enemy attacks were recorded on the Kupyansk and Pokrovsk directions, where hostilities are ongoing.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its operational update as of 22:00.
During the day, Russian forces launched 50 airstrikes, dropping 160 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy used 3,910 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,865 shelling attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops. The use of missile weapons was also recorded.
The highest intensity of assault actions was observed on the Kupyansk direction. Here, the Defense Forces repelled 24 Russian attacks near Kupyansk, Rozkishne, Vilne, and on several adjacent front sectors. As of 22:00, three combat clashes were still ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces made 15 attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses. The enemy attacked near Vilne, Bilytske, Molodetske, as well as in the directions of Dobropillia, Huliaiove, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. At the time of publishing the update, a battle was ongoing.
According to preliminary data from the General Staff, on the Pokrovsk direction, 71 Russian servicemen were eliminated during the day, and 13 others were wounded. Ukrainian units destroyed ten vehicles, three special means, six drone control points, and 34 enemy shelters.
In addition, 11 vehicles, four artillery systems, two electronic warfare means, six units of special equipment, and four drone control points were damaged. Also, 247 Russian UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
On the North Kharkiv and Kursk directions, Russian forces conducted 12 assaults and carried out 130 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, three of which used multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk and in the direction of Radkivka five times. One battle was ongoing at the time of the evening update.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian units repelled five attempts to advance towards Lyman and near Kopanky. The Defense Forces also stopped eight Russian attacks on the Sloviansk direction.
On the Kramatorsk direction, two assaults were recorded. On the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks, and on the Orikhiv direction, three.
On the Kupiansk, Oleksandrivka, and Prydniprovske directions, Russian forces did not conduct assault actions during the day.
According to the General Staff, no significant changes in the operational situation were recorded on the remaining front sectors. The data provided are preliminary and may be updated.
