Russian attacks on stores and logistics centers of the "Silpo" chain caused significant financial losses to the company. For nine months of 2026, LLC "Silpo-Food" recognized losses from damage and destruction of property in the amount of UAH 1.53 billion. The final estimate may increase.

On November 4, Forbes Ukraine reported this, citing the company's financial statements published in the information system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.

The bulk of the losses came from write-offs of current assets – UAH 1.4 billion. This includes, in particular, property and inventory that the company lost as a result of military events.

For comparison, for the same period of 2025, the corresponding write-offs amounted to only UAH 1 million.

Earlier, Fozzy Group, which includes "Silpo", told NV Business that from August to the end of September alone, Russian strikes destroyed or damaged more than 20 group facilities. Among them were supermarkets, distribution centers and production facilities.

Due to the loss of part of the infrastructure, the group was forced to restructure logistics, revise costs and change the organizational structure. In particular, the company announced a reduction of some office staff, while continuing to hire employees for stores, warehouses and production.

At the same time, before the large-scale attacks on warehouse infrastructure, the financial indicators of "Silpo-Food" showed growth. According to Opendatabot, in the first half of 2026, the company's revenue amounted to UAH 59.55 billion, an 18% increase compared to the same period last year.

At the same time, the recognized losses from Russian strikes should not be equated with the company's total net loss for the nine months. This is a separate category of losses related to damage and destruction of assets.
