Ukraine has partially stabilized the power system after massive Russian attacks. In most regions, including Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, emergency power outages have been canceled. This allowed a return to hourly outage schedules, although consumption restrictions remain significant.
NEC "Ukrenergo" reported this on November 4.
According to the company, emergency outages are currently ongoing only in Kharkiv Oblast. In other regions, where the situation permits, hourly schedules are applied.
Earlier it was reported that emergency power outages continued in Kyiv for the second day, and hourly schedules were not in effect. After restoration work, the situation was partially stabilized.
The power supply was partially stabilized thanks to round-the-clock restoration work. During the night, energy workers eliminated the consequences of previous attacks and restored the operation of damaged equipment.
At the same time, the situation in the power system remains difficult, especially in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast. The threat of new outages persists due to significant damage to the energy infrastructure.
In some regions, hourly outages on November 4 may be applied up to four stages. For industrial enterprises, power restriction schedules are also provided.
Russian troops continued to attack energy facilities during the previous day and night. Due to new strikes and damage caused earlier, as of the morning, consumers in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, and Kherson oblasts remained without power.
"Ukrenergo" emphasized that the cancellation of emergency outages does not mean a full restoration of power supply. Some consumers remain without electricity due to direct damage to power networks, and hourly restrictions are necessary to maintain the stability of the power system.
Emergency restoration work continues in all regions where the security situation permits. Energy workers continue to repair equipment and restore power supply.
The company warns that the outage regime may change quickly depending on the state of the power system and possible new attacks. Consumers are advised to check current schedules on the official resources of regional energy companies and use electricity sparingly.
