On Thursday, November 5, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect in certain regions of Ukraine. The restrictions will affect both household consumers and industrial enterprises.
This was announced on November 4 by the national energy company "Ukrenergo".
According to energy experts' forecast, on November 5, hourly outage schedules will be applied from 07:00 to 21:00 in the amount of one to two queues.
For industrial enterprises and businesses, separate power limitation schedules are provided. They will be in effect from 07:00 to 22:00.
The reason for the restrictions remains the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure facilities. Equipment damage continues to affect the ability of the power system to provide consumers with electricity.
Compared with the previously planned restrictions for Wednesday, November 4, the duration of outages will increase. For Wednesday, "Ukrenergo" initially provided for the application of schedules from 08:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00 in the amount of 0.5 to 1.5 queues.
The company warns that the time and scope of restrictions may change depending on the situation in the power system.
The exact outage schedule for specific settlements and addresses must be checked on the official websites and pages of regional electricity distribution system operators (oblenergo).
"Ukrenergo" also urges consumers to use electricity sparingly during periods when power supply is restored according to schedule. This will help reduce the load on the damaged power system.
