On the front in Ukraine, 179 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day on November 4. Russian troops continued offensive actions in several directions, simultaneously inflicting massive air strikes and using thousands of attack drones.
This is stated in the operational report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on Wednesday, November 4.
According to the Ukrainian military command, Russian troops carried out 61 air strikes, dropping 200 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy used 4,877 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,862 shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian units.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks. Russian units tried to advance in the areas of Toretsk, Volne, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, Dobropillia, Serhiivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka.
According to preliminary estimates of the General Staff, on this direction 46 Russian servicemen were eliminated during the day, and another 12 were wounded.
Also, Ukrainian units destroyed 12 units of automotive and 11 units of special equipment, six drone control points, two ammunition depots and 32 enemy shelters.
In addition, three artillery systems, eight vehicles, four units of special equipment, four UAV control points and 178 shelters were damaged. 171 Russian drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, the Defense Forces stopped 10 attempts to advance Russian troops in the areas of Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.
On the Huliaipole direction, nine attacks were recorded in the areas of Zlahoda, Ternuvate, Dolynka, Horkoho and Yehorivka.
On the South-Sloboda direction, the enemy conducted six attacks near Ternova, Starytsia, Rybalchyne and Ambarnyi.
On the Lyman direction, five combat clashes occurred. As of 22:00, one of them was ongoing. Another two attacks by the Russian army were repelled on the Sloviansk direction, and two combat clashes were recorded on the North-Sloboda direction.
According to the General Staff, on the Kupiansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivsk, Orikhiv and Prydniprovske directions, Russian troops did not conduct offensive actions.
On the other sectors of the front, the Ukrainian command did not record significant changes in the situation. The provided data are operational and may be updated.
