In Kyiv, on November 5, train traffic on the red line of the subway was temporarily suspended due to power supply problems. Later, the line's operation was restored, but passengers were warned about possible repeated disruptions.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
At 12:21, traffic on the red line was stopped due to significant voltage fluctuations from external power sources. Meanwhile, the blue and green lines of the subway continued to operate normally.
At 13:01, the Kyiv City State Administration reported the restoration of train traffic on the red line. The interval between trains after the restart was nine minutes.
The city administration warned that due to unstable external power supply, new brief subway stoppages or increased intervals are possible. Passengers are informed about changes promptly by subway employees on station platforms.
