On Friday, November 6, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect in some regions of Ukraine around the clock. The restrictions will affect residential and industrial consumers, and their duration will depend on the situation in the power system.

This was announced on the evening of November 5 by NPC Ukrenergo.

According to the company's order, electricity supply restrictions on November 6 will be in effect from 00:00 to 23:59. Power engineers have provided for the following measures:

  • From 00:00 to 23:59 — hourly power outage schedules for all categories of consumers in the amount of 2.5 to 4 queues.
  • From 00:00 to 23:59 — power limitation schedules for industrial enterprises.

The reason for the restrictions remains the consequences of massive Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure facilities.

Ukrenergo warned that the time and volume of outages may change depending on the state of the power system and the consequences of new shelling. Therefore, consumers are advised to regularly check updates on the official resources of regional electricity distribution system operators.

The company did not specify in which regions the restrictions will be applied. The specific time of power absence for each address must be checked on the websites of the respective regional energy companies.

The presence of schedules throughout the day does not mean continuous lack of power for every consumer. The duration of outages depends on the established queue and the load on the power system.

Power engineers also called on Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly after power supply is restored to reduce the load on damaged equipment.
