The United States, together with Ukraine and Russia, is working on preparing concrete proposals for a new round of peace talks scheduled for November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi. Washington expects the meeting to be a step toward a comprehensive agreement to end the war, which will also take into account the future European security system.

This was reported by the special representative of US President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, after negotiations with Ukraine, NATO, and European partners, which took place on November 5 in Brussels.

According to Kushner, the participants in the consultations discussed two key and interrelated elements of lasting peace: security guarantees for Ukraine and the formation of a broader European security architecture.

"We are working intensively with all parties to find practical solutions that will allow us to end this war and lay the foundations for lasting peace", - said the White House representative.

He explained that the goal of the negotiations is to find mutually acceptable agreements that will take into account the security concerns of all parties and reduce the risk of new conflicts.

Kushner confirmed that next week the United States will organize in Abu Dhabi the first trilateral peace talks since February 2026 with the participation of Ukraine and Russia.

"We have worked with both sides to develop serious proposals that can make these negotiations as substantive and productive as possible", - he reported.

According to Kushner, President Trump has identified achieving peace as one of his priorities. The American side is currently focused on the detailed development of the conditions necessary to achieve a comprehensive and long-term agreement.

At the same time, the US representative did not disclose the content of the prepared proposals and did not report on the achievement of final agreements between Kyiv and Moscow.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha also confirmed the preparation for the talks in the United Arab Emirates.

According to him, the Ukrainian delegation plans to focus on security issues, confidence-building measures, and determining a possible agenda for a potential meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin.

"In the coming days, we expect talks in Abu Dhabi. We will focus on the security agenda, confidence-building measures, and a possible agenda for a potential Zelenskyy-Putin meeting", - Sybiha stated on November 5 at a press conference in Bucharest.

Earlier, on November 4, Zelenskyy held a one-and-a-half-hour telephone conversation with the special representatives of the US President, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. During the conversation, they discussed preparations for the trilateral format and security guarantees for Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president emphasized that Kyiv has already submitted its own proposals to the American side and is ready for further negotiations. Among the priorities, he separately named strengthening air defense and the need to obtain additional interceptor missiles for Patriot systems.

It is expected that the meeting on November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi will be held at the level of negotiating teams of Ukraine, the USA, and Russia. No meeting of state leaders has been agreed upon so far.
