On Friday, November 6, in the interbank currency market saw balanced trading in a narrow range of 45.325-45.365 UAH. This is about 14 kopecks lower than yesterday's range. Buyer activity in the first half of the trading session, as in the previous two days, is low. Some buyers even withdrew their bids and are waiting for quotes to drop even lower, and only then will they enter the market.
At 10:40, the volume of transactions in the Bloomberg trading system was 66.5 million dollars. This is slightly more than yesterday at the same time.
According to the portal “Kurs of Ukraine”, today for the first time this week the market saw many banks selling currency from a position to buy back cheaper later. Such actions indicate that the banks are no longer afraid of a sharp upward jump in quotes and are ready to go short.
On Friday, the euro in the interbank currency market of Ukraine is trading in a narrow range of 50.63-51.14 UAH on the “bid” position - 41-47 kopecks lower than yesterday. After several days of growth on the international FOREX currency market, the euro resumed its decline and from yesterday's 1.12682 dollars dropped more than 100 points to 1.11674 dollars. Thus the market reacts to the fall of the stock market both in the US and in Eurozone countries.
