SOCAR significantly reduced gasoline prices

Among the eight largest filling station operators, the most noticeable price reduction on November 6 was recorded in the SOCAR network.

The company reduced the prices of A-95 and A-95+ gasoline immediately by UAH 3/l – to UAH 92.90 and UAH 95.90/l, respectively. Diesel fuel in this network became cheaper by UAH 1, to UAH 107/l. The price of autogas remained unchanged at UAH 60.90/l.

At the same time, all three operators left prices for gasoline and diesel fuel unchanged.

Among these eight operators, the cheapest A-95 gasoline is offered by KLO at UAH 86.90/l, while the most expensive diesel remains at SOCAR at UAH 107/l.

The lowest average diesel price was recorded at BRSM-Nafta – UAH 102.72/l. The cheapest autogas among the eight networks is sold by UKRNAFTA – UAH 57.90/l, while the highest price is set at KLO – UAH 62.50/l.

Other networks also significantly revised prices

Weekly summary: autogas continues to rise, gasoline becomes cheaper

Based on the results of the first week of November, two opposite trends emerged in the Ukrainian fuel market: steady rise in autogas prices and decline in average gasoline prices.

Back on November 2, autogas rose in price by 75 kopiykas per litre compared with the previous quotation day, October 30. At that time, its average price reached UAH 58.41/l.

On Tuesday, November 3, the increase continued – by another 41 kopiykas, to UAH 58.82/l. On Wednesday, November 4, the pace of growth slowed to 29 kopiykas.

However, on November 5, autogas added 32 kopiykas, and on November 6 – another 50 kopiykas.

Overall, from October 30 to November 6, the average price of autogas rose from UAH 57.66 to UAH 59.93/l, i.e., by UAH 2.27, or approximately 3.9%.

Instead, gasoline mostly fell in price during the week. The most noticeable decline occurred on November 5, when large networks UKRNAFTA, UPG and KLO simultaneously revised prices for individual gasoline brands.

As a result, compared with October 30, the average price of A-92 decreased by 97 kopiykas, to UAH 85.50/l, A-95 – by 50 kopiykas, to UAH 89.57/l, and A-95+ – by 52 kopiykas, to UAH 93.37/l.

Diesel fuel over the same period, despite the decline on November 6, overall rose in price by 31 kopiykas – from UAH 104.26 to UAH 104.57/l.

Thus, autogas remained the only one of the five main fuel types whose average price rose every quotation day since the beginning of November. At the same time, the decline in gasoline prices, which became noticeable in the second half of the week, continued on Friday.
