Rates are set at 15:30 on November 6 and reflect the following trends:
1. The first half of the trading session on Friday, November 6, took place in a narrow range of 45.325-45.365 UAH. Buyer-importers, as in previous days, reduced activity, while banks, on the contrary, began to more actively offer non-cash currency. The average transaction price at 12:00 was 45.3523 UAH – 13 kopecks lower than on Thursday. After 13:00, the National Bank conducted another currency intervention, as a result of which the non-cash dollar rate dropped to 45.235 UAH on the "bid" position. By the close of trading, the average price decreased even more, so the NBU lowered the official dollar rate for Monday by 12.3 kopecks.
2. The euro on the international FOREX market on Friday moved down against the US dollar, which rose against all other major world currencies. The US employment data released at 15:30 supported the dollar's growth, and the euro by the time of writing dropped to 1.11442 dollars.
At the time of fixing, the euro was sold at 1.11749 dollars - 56.8 points lower than on Thursday (1.12317). Therefore, in parallel with the decrease in the official dollar rate, the NBU lowered the official euro rate for Monday by 39.5 kopecks.
As we can see, for the fourth day in a row, as a result of the efforts of the National Bank, the hryvnia is strengthening on the interbank currency market against the dollar and euro.
