On Saturday, November 7, electricity supply restrictions will continue in parts of Ukraine. Outage schedules will apply around the clock and affect both residential and industrial consumers.
This was reported on November 6 by the press service of NPC Ukrenergo.
According to the company's order, the following restrictions are envisaged for November 7:
- From 00:00 to 23:59 — capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers.
- From 00:00 to 23:59 — hourly power outage schedules for all categories of consumers, in the amount of two to four queues.
The reason for the restrictions remains the consequences of massive Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy facilities. Infrastructure damage complicates the operation of the power system and forces energy companies to regulate electricity consumption.
Ukrenergo warned that due to ongoing Russian shelling, the situation in the power system may change. Therefore, the announced volumes of restrictions and outage schedules may be adjusted.
The actual power outage time for a specific address should be checked on the official websites and pages of regional oblenergos. It is the distribution system operators who publish detailed schedules for their consumers.
The company also called on Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly after it appears according to schedule. This will help reduce the load on the power system under the current restrictions.
