Ukrainian intelligence has received information about Russia preparing a new strike on energy and civilian infrastructure. Among the potential targets are bridges across the Dnieper and facilities of the country's energy system.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this on November 6 in his evening address.

According to the head of state, the Air Force and other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already preparing to repel the possible attack.

"At present we have information from intelligence that a new strike is being prepared — on energy, on our bridges across the Dnieper, on civilian infrastructure. The Air Force and the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a whole are preparing for defense. It is not easy", — Zelensky stated.

The president emphasized that for effective air defense Ukraine urgently needs additional interceptor missiles for the American Patriot systems.

In this regard, Zelensky appealed to international partners calling for speeding up the implementation of previously reached agreements on arms supplies.

"Interceptors for Patriot are needed, every agreement is important, every day in supplies is very important. We very much ask partners not to postpone deliveries for later", — the president noted.

The head of state also called on Ukrainians to observe safety measures and not ignore air-raid alarms.

Zelensky did not name specific dates for a possible attack. The president also did not disclose information about the number of missiles and drones that Russia could use.

Earlier, on November 2, Zelensky had already warned about Russia preparing a new massive strike on Ukrainian energy and logistics. At that time, the president said that Russian troops had changed tactics and began to attack more actively not only electricity generation facilities, but also power distribution networks.
