Next year the United Kingdom will host a state visit by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to Eurointegration.

This was reported by Financial Times from sources familiar with the situation, reports "European Pravda".

The formal host will be King Charles III.

The purpose of the visit will be to demonstrate long-term and unwavering support for Ukraine from British political forces.

A special and non-standard program of events is being considered, in particular a repeat address by the Ukrainian president to the British parliament.

Government representatives told the publication that Zelenskyy's visit is unlikely to coincide with the G20 summit in Manchester, which will take place in November of that year.

The President of Ukraine has visited the United Kingdom repeatedly, most recently last month.

He met with Andy Burnham on Downing Street.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham previously said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not participate in the G20 leaders' summit next year, which will be hosted by the United Kingdom.

The statement about refusing to invite Putin to the upcoming G20 summit, which will take place in 2027 in Manchester, came in opposition to the actions of the US administration. Washington officially invited the Russian leader to take part in the meeting of the "Group of Twenty" leaders in Miami next month.
