Russian attack destroyed Millennium chocolate warehouse in Dnipro

As a result of a massive Russian attack on Dnipro, a warehouse complex where products of Ukrainian chocolate manufacturer Millennium were stored suffered serious damage.

The company reported this on its official Instagram page.

Millennium emphasized that none of the company’s employees were killed or injured. All workers are safe. The extent of material damage and the estimated timeframe for the warehouse complex’s restoration were not disclosed in the initial statement.

The company thanked the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and representatives of other services involved in eliminating the strike’s aftermath. The manufacturer expressed special gratitude to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Millennium stated that the enterprise continues to operate despite damage to infrastructure, air raids, power outages, and other war-related risks. The company also thanked customers and partners for supporting Ukrainian production.

According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, that night the region was subjected to a massive combined attack. According to preliminary information, air defense forces destroyed seven missiles and 26 drones, but hits were also registered.

As a result of the attack in Dnipro, an apartment building and industrial enterprises were damaged, and several fires broke out. Cars in a parking lot also caught fire among others. In the city, a man was killed and another woman was injured. Factories and a shopping center were also ablaze in the Dnipro district.

The authorities did not link the fatalities and injuries directly to the damaged Millennium warehouse. The company itself confirmed that its employees survived.
