Zelensky discussed with Witkoff and Kushner their possible visit to Ukraine

President Vladimir Zelensky held a phone conversation with representatives of US President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Among the issues discussed was their possible visit to Ukraine.

The head of state reported this on August 31 in Telegram, calling the conversation "constructive".

According to Zelensky, the parties discussed further contacts between Ukraine and the American side. Special attention was paid to the possibility of Witkoff and Kushner visiting Ukraine.

However, the president did not provide specific dates for a possible visit and did not clarify whether a final decision on the trip by Trump's representatives had been made.

In recent months, Witkoff and Kushner have been involved in diplomatic contacts of the US administration related to finding ways to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The new conversation took place amid ongoing contacts between Kyiv and Washington on the issue of possible peace settlement and further steps by the American administration.
