On October 28, taxpayers in Ukraine continue to complain about problems with the operation of electronic services of the State Tax Service (STS). Users report unavailability of the Electronic Cabinet, delays in processing reports and registration of tax invoices.
Proceeds from Economic Truth report the problems. Taxpayer complaints also appeared in the comments on the official Facebook page of the STS.
According to users, some electronic documents have remained unprocessed since October 26-27. In particular, taxpayers report the absence of receipts for the registration of tax invoices submitted through accounting programs.
One of the users noted that excise invoices and daily reports sent for registration after 14:00 on October 27 still have the status "awaiting delivery".
Other taxpayers complain that on October 28 they cannot log in to the Electronic Cabinet. Some users report complete unavailability of its page, as well as problems with document transfer through M.E.Doc.
Complaints are coming despite the official statement by the tax service about the completion of technical work. On the morning of October 27, the STS stated that routine maintenance of information systems had been completed, and electronic services and digital services had resumed normal operation.
Previously, the tax service had warned about possible interruptions from the 24th to the morning of the 26th of October. The work was carried out for maintenance of the agency's information and communication systems.
In a message dated October 23, the STS called on entrepreneurs and citizens to plan in advance the submission of documents and fulfillment of tax obligations in view of the temporary restrictions.
At the same time, there is still no official explanation for the causes of the complaints that continue to arrive on October 28. It is also unknown whether these problems are directly related to the previous routine work and when the operation of all services will be fully stabilized.
For businesses, delays in processing electronic documents can complicate tax accounting, confirmation of invoice registration and timely fulfillment of reporting procedures.
The STS previously reminded that during confirmed technical failures, the provisions of paragraph 42.10 of the Tax Code of Ukraine apply. They provide certain guarantees for taxpayers in case of violations caused by malfunctions of the Electronic Cabinet.
However, the mere fact of failure reports does not automatically result in postponement of all tax deadlines or exemption from fines. For the application of the guarantees provided by law, official confirmation of the technical malfunction and its impact on the fulfillment of a specific obligation is important.
Taxpayers who have encountered problems are advised to keep confirmations of document submission, error messages and to check the receipt of receipts after the operation of the relevant services is restored.
As previously reported by "Kurs Ukrainy", the tax service warned about interruptions in the operation of online services during maintenance on October 24-26. The current complaints relate to the period after the announced completion of work.
