1. Посадку Союз МС-26 сначала планировали на 1 апреля, но затем отложили на 20 апреля, так как американскому астронавту Дональду Петтиту исполняется 70 лет в этот день и решили приурочить посадку к дню его рождения. После посадки спускаемой капсулы из-за ветра ее завалило на бок. 

Первым извлекли из капсулы командира Алексея Овчинина в хорошем самочувствии. 

Вторым извлекли из капсулы американского астронавта Дональда Петтита в неважном самочувствии. Однако видно, что после извлечения из капсулы он самостоятельно открыл своими руками "забрало" своего шлема. Далее его решили не снимать на камеры и, немного подержав в кресле на ковре, унесли его в медицинскую палатку, которую развернули рядом.

Третьим извлекли из капсулы бортинженера Ивана Вагнера в неплохом самочувствии.

2. В пресс-релизе NASA сообщает, что Дональд Петтит чувствует себя хорошо и находится в пределах того, что от него ожидают после возвращения на Землю.

3. На одном из российских сайтов ссылаются на прежнее интервью Дональда Петтита, в котором сам астронавт отмечал, что кто-то переносит возвращение на Землю легко, а кто-то — с трудом, и, в прошлые разы ему требовалось около суток на то, «чтобы снова почувствовать себя человеком».

NASA Astronaut Don Pettit Returns to Houston

NASA astronaut Don Pettit returned to Earth on Saturday, April 19, concluding a seven-month science mission aboard the International Space Station. After the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft landed in Kazakhstan, Pettit boarded a NASA Gulfstream V that took him back to Ellington Field in Houston, Texas. His flight landed in Houston on April 20, his 70th birthday. As he stepped off the plane, he was greeted by a chorus of “Happy Birthday,” sung by his fellow astronauts. Pettit spent 220 days in space, earning him a total of 590 days in space over the course of his four spaceflights. He orbited the Earth 3,520 times, traveling 93.3 million miles in low-Earth orbit.

Axiom Mission 4 Launches to the International Space Station
